Hello Everyone
Well sorry for not being in touch for what seems like ages.
I have been having whats seem sto have been a few indifferent weeks with some low socres to my name. The Injuries I have had have play some part in that and it knocked my confidence a little, however this week I seem to have got things back on track and I am feeling good about speedway again.I have been trying a few different set up too over the last few weeks, but the rain offs and lack of home meetings have not helped much. But thankfully we are back into a busy period of racing with the final of the Premier Trophy coming up at Birmingham next week.
I will update you next week

Hello everyone
I have had a few meetings since my last update and a few rain offs too.
A few weeks ago we rode against Rye House. That was a tought meeting against the Rockets who had Leigh Lanham in their side to cover for Robbo (get well soon mate). The track was a little slick compaired to some weeks and there was very little dirt on the outside, which made passing even more harder than normal. I got 8 points in the end and that included yet another crash. I crashed into Steve Boxhall and then in turn got hit by Chris Neath. I left that meeting aain battered and bruised.
The following night we went to Stoke. During the meeting there was some light drizzle which again didnt help the track. I missed most of my starts and struggled on the track which was hard to ride. I ended the meeting with 6 points, which was a little dissapointing.
Last night (Wednesday) we were back at home against Mildenhall. The day was bright and sunny until about 5pm whenthe heavens opened. We were lucky to get the meeting on seeing as how the rain virtually ruined the track.
Buster managed to get the track to a state where we could ride it, but conditions were difficult.
As the meeting went on the track became very slick and Mildenhall ran us very close, which will make the return harder to secure the all important bonus point.I am looking forward to going back to my old home track of Mildenhall and hopefully I will be able to score some good points, but as they always say, it is always difficult going back to a former home track.

Hi Everybody, and welcome to the battered and bruised edition of my news page.
Firstly sorry for the delay in updating you on my condition.
As it stands I am battered and bruised and it only hurts when I touch my leg, so I have decided the best thing is not to touch it.Well after a coulpe of rain offs we went to Redcar and while we walked the track we noticed that the first turn had a bit of a wet patch on it. Then came my first ride and I got wiped out by Benji. Benji managed to get off his bike, but that continued and came straight at me, and then I ran of Benji as well. I ended up flying up in the air and landing heavily on my left side. My leg, arm and back all hurt, and as my back was hurting I was put on a spinal board and taken to hospital to be checked out.
It was confirmed that I just had very bad bruising and I was alowed to go home the day after.
The accident itself was not Benji's fault and I dont blame him what so ever. I beleive it was down to track conditions, and I hope Benji is ok too.
The other good news is that my bikes were not too badly damaged in the accident and they just need a little tweaking here and there.
I am back at work and managing ok, I will also be back on Wednesday ready to race.
In the coming weeks I wile be on Sky Sports, when Kings Lynn travel to the Isle of Wight.
See you all soon

Hi Everyone, Just a quick note to post this on behalf of Andre Compton - Paul
Good Afternoon to you all,

On Saturday against Workington I had a good meeting, scoring 7 points. It was also good to see my old friend Stoney back in action, and our races felt just like the old days.
Well things are going awesome at Kings Lynn at the moment.
Last night against Newcastle I only dropped one point, even though I was having some engine problems. I had one on the parade lap, so I used my second bike and that also didnt feel right either, but all things considered I did well to only drop one point.I am struggling a little to find thr right setups for slick tracks, but we are getting there slowly.
Over the next few weeks we have about 2 meetings a week, which I am really looking forward to.
It helps as I am loving speedway again after having nearly 2 years out injured.Paul

What a great start to the season, 3 maximums so far. I am really happy that the investment in my machinery is really paying off. I feel like I am on some of the best equipment I have ever had in my career.
I got paid 8 around my old stomping ground at Sheffield on Bank Holiday Monday, then another paid maximum against Stoke at Kings Lynn on Wednesday.
I am looking forward to a good year this year, the Kings Lynn track is great and the team is great too.
Talk to you all soon

Sorry for the lack of updates since the season got underway, but I am putting that right now.
My first meeting back felt great to get some wins under my belt. I felt really fast all night and the bikes were working brilliantly.
Tonight, well what a result 75-15, it felt awesome and it was great to get my first maximum of the season.
I will do a full update after tomorrow and I promise I Will be talking to you more often

News 30 January 2007I’m Back!
It’s been a long time coming, but I’m back on line and back on a bike.
After nearly two years away from riding a speedway bike, I can’t wait for the new season to start and get back into the swing of the Premier League again.
It’s been a great winter knowing that I had a team place sorted out early on in the close season, and to be able to return to Kings Lynn was a real bonus. I want to get out on track now and start to show that the faith that the club had in me was justified.
People have been questioning my fitness, but I’ve been riding motocross bikes all through the winter, and I’ve had no problems at all with my arm, so there is no reason to worry about my strength on a speedway bike. I’m as fit and strong as I have ever been, and I have no worries about riding the Norfolk Arena track.
I’ve just set off to France on a skiing holiday for a week, and then it’s full steam ahead for the new season.
I promise that there will be regular news updates during the season, and I’ll do everything I can to let you all know how I did as soon as I can after every meeting.
Keep checking back often for all the news from Paul Lee.
